When you register in the job candidate database or apply for a posted job opening, you provide us with your first name, last name, phone number, email address, formal education, year of birth, address, postal code, city, and country of residence, current employment, and the information you provide in your resume or during a personal interview and its notes, as well as any other personal data you choose to share with us.
As part of the recruitment process, we collect only data that you provide to us yourself or that we obtain from other individuals based on your explicit consent. We may collect your personal data in various ways, for example:
What is the purpose of processing your personal data? We collect your personal data exclusively for the purpose for which you provided it (to process your job application or to add you to the job candidate database) — so that we can include you in the recruitment process, send you an offer for a specific position, and conclude an employment contract if you are selected during the recruitment process.
What is the legal basis for processing your data, and how long do we retain your data? We process personal data from the job candidate database based on your consent (I consent to the processing of my personal data in accordance with the Notice on the Processing of Personal Data). We retain this data for five years from the date of your application for the advertised position or the receipt of your personal data for inclusion in the job applicant database, or until you withdraw your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time by sending an email to info@virs.si.
Who stores your personal data? The personal data you have provided is stored by VIRS d.o.o., which is responsible in accordance with applicable law and ensures the protection of personal data, including protection against unlawful processing and loss.
Access to your personal data is limited to those employees of VIRS d.o.o. who are involved in the hiring and staffing process (e.g., HR and general affairs staff, managers of the departments where the work will take place and their supervisors, and IT staff who have access necessary to perform their duties).
